Frequently asked questions
Am I allowed to record a conversation?
Rules differ per country. In the Netherlands you may record a conversation you take part in yourself; elsewhere you may need consent from everyone. Always say you are recording. MeetingNotes.work is mainly built for talking after the meeting: you describe in two minutes what was discussed, so nobody else is recorded.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. MeetingNotes.work runs in the browser on iPhone and Android, no app store install. Open app.meetingnotes.work, log in and press record. Add the page to your home screen and it feels like an app. You need an internet connection for recording and processing.
Which CRM does it work with?
Any CRM, but not through a direct integration. The AI writes a structured CRM note that you copy with one click and paste into Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or your own system. There is no direct API integration yet. We'd rather be honest about what exists and what doesn't.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the European Union, encrypted. For AI processing we use the OpenAI API; contractually your data is not used to train models. Recordings are deleted automatically after 90 days; notes are kept as long as you want. Delete your account and everything is gone within 30 days. Details are in the privacy policy.
Can I cancel?
Yes, monthly, from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the paid month. No notice period, no hidden fees.
Which languages are supported?
Dutch, English, French and Spanish, for both the transcription and the texts the AI writes.
What does it cost after the free recordings?
Free stays free: 5 recordings per month. Need more? Choose Starter (€7, 20 recordings), Pro (€12.50, 60 recordings) or Business (€20, 200 recordings). Prices per month, excluding VAT, cancel monthly.
How good is the transcription?
Good enough to produce a usable summary without proofreading, including industry terms and names. Talking in a quiet place (in the car, in the car park) works better than in a busy hall. Product and customer names are recognised better when they are in your knowledge base. Always read the follow-up email before you send it.
